Two weeks. That’s all it took for me to realize I wanted to do real estate full time. During an annual two-week shutdown at my full-time job, I focused entirely on real estate. During that time, I made more than I did at my job. It hit me—my job was holding me back from fully seizing the opportunities real estate had to offer. When I returned to work, I turned in my notice.
For a long time, I was just trying to figure out what I wanted out of life. After high school, football was the only thing I really cared about. I went to college and played football but ultimately left and jumped into the workforce. I took whatever jobs I could and eventually became a supervisor at a tobacco warehouse. It was steady work, and for a while, that seemed like enough.
But over time, I knew I wanted more. My father-in-law was the first to suggest real estate. I had always been good at talking to people and making connections. I saw an opportunity to really help people and do work that had a direct impact.
In 2018, while still working full-time, I got my real estate license and started part-time. Starting out was tough because everyone knows an agent—Why choose me? But I worked hard, focused on learning, and went above and beyond for every client who trusted me with the biggest investment of their life. My business was growing in those first two years, but I was still splitting my time between two jobs. That’s why those two weeks changed everything. Once I saw what I was capable of, I knew I had to commit.

The first year on my own, I realized I was growing a business that I could be proud of. I built a reputation—not just for selling homes, but for how I treated my clients. I want to be the person my clients can trust, someone who goes above and beyond to make the process smooth and stress-free. With every repeat client and referral, I’m reminded that I made the right choice because I love what I do and the people I serve.
My wife, Lydia, and our two boys, Cooper and Cole, are the reason behind everything I do. Growing up without my dad around, I was always committed to being present for my own kids. I don’t want to miss a game, practice, or any big moment. The mentors I did have—coaches, teachers, and teammates—taught me accountability, discipline, and the value of being part of something bigger. That influence shaped how I parent, and I’ve loved coaching my sons’ teams, teaching them the importance of hard work and responsibility. More than anything, I want them to know they can always count on me.

That same approach carried over when I became a broker for our Gallatin office. New agents need guidance, encouragement, and someone who believes in them. I want to give others that same opportunity I had, whether it’s helping agents grow their careers or guiding clients through major decisions. Success in this business, like anything in life, comes down to showing up, putting in the work, and pushing forward, even when it’s not easy.
Looking back, I never could have imagined ending up here—having a fulfilling life with a family and a career I love. There was a time when I was just trying to figure things out, but every step, even the mistakes, led me to where I am today.
When you work with me, you’re not just getting a real estate agent. You’re getting someone who truly has your back. My approach is simple: I listen, I work hard, and I put my clients first every step of the way. Whether you're buying your first home, selling a property, or investing in land, I make sure you feel confident and informed throughout the process. I don’t believe in pressure tactics or rushing decisions. Real estate is a huge investment, and you deserve the time to make the right choice.
With years of experience, a strong local network, and a deep understanding of the market having lived here my entire life, I make sure my clients get the best deals possible. I handle negotiations with a level head, always keeping your best interests in mind while finding solutions that work for everyone. Most of my business comes from referrals, which tells me I’m doing things the right way by being honest, reliable, and fully committed to my clients' success. If you're looking for someone who will go above and beyond to make the process smooth and stress-free, I’m your guy!
Sincerely,

Kyle Woodard
